Flather Lathes have "points" that appeal to the true mechanic — same as a thoroughbred to a horse lover.
This is our latest 15-inch lathe. Note the long headstock and five-step cone. Hollow spindle. The A's are on outside edge of bed and
larger than inside ones—long bearings for carriage. Stop motion—rackgear instantly withdrawn in screw cutting. Change gears on
swing shelf under,bed. Power cross-feed. Variable feed—from 4 turns pei inch of feed to 400. Taper attachment if wanted.
Flather lathes are proportioned—no anvil and fiddle combinations. We've been 25 years designin lathes and have been extensively
